Coming up on the 8th, 9th and 10th of October is our outdoor climbing trip!

So, our first trip is to the Peak District!

The cost of the trip is £32, and we ask that everyone chip in £3 to cover the cost of the trip for the people who have to drive the minibuses as a way to say thank you.

• *The £32 covers transport, breakfasts and dinners, accommodation and use of all the clubs gear

• *We will be leaving at 7PM on Friday the 8th October so we can get two solid days climbing in over Saturday and Sunday

• *We will be staying in a scout hall, there is plenty of room, a small kitchen, heating, hot water, toilets (no showers), and even the facilities to have a big camp fire!

• *On Wednesday 6th we will be running a short gear trip to Central London for anyone who would like to buy some climbing shoes to take with them. We recommend not buying shoes online as they need to fit your feet quite tight, it is ALWAYS best to goto the shop and try them on.

• *A full kit list will be sent out and put on the website nearer the trip, this will just include stuff like sleeping bags, sensible clothing, and money for lunch etc…

If you would like to come on the trip, you will need to bring money to Thursday’s taster session. (or you will be able to find us in The Hub after the lesson, so people can get money from the cash machines if need be).

It is first come first served, so get your name down ASAP. (If you can’t make Thursday but would definitely like to come, get in touch with one of use through email/facebook and we can pencil you in, but we can’t confirm anything until your place has been paid for).

Finally, for the university to let us take you, you will NEED a Sports Federation card, and to be a member of the club before Thursday 7th . This can be done here: http://brunelstudents.com/membership/
