Annual Dinner 2010/2011

On 12th and 13th of March we will be making our way to the south west for some climbing and our Annual Dinner. This is easily the most anticipated social of the year and we hope to make this a good one for you. The trip involves:

Travel to Chedder Gorge on the Sat morn for some outdoor sport climbing

Once we are suitably tired and hungry we will make our way to Redwood Hotel and Country Club in west Bristol

Use any of the Country Club’s facilities (including swimming pool) for free. If we have time that is!

Pairs will be allocated rooms in the hotel and we will all get dollied up ready for our evening event. A three course meal will be served in our own function room with a stage, dance floor, and garden area, followed by a disco till 1am.

Have a good nights sleep in our hotel rooms and get up nice and early for complementary breakfast.

Head to Avon for another day’s climbing then travel home late afternoon.

The total cost of the trip is only £60 per person. This is an unmissable trip and we want to see as many of you there as possible!

1. Cream of leek and potato soup
2. Mozzarella, Tomatoes, Basil pesto tart, Rocket

Mains
1. Fillet of salmon, white wine and fennel cream sauce
2. Chicken breast with wild mushroom, shallots and red wine sauce
3. Risotto of roast vegetables with rocket and parmesan

Deserts
1. Chocolate brownie with clotted cream and chocolate sauce
2. Passion fruit cheesecake
